There was a time when I used to sail
Through dreams and fantasies, time and space
Many sailors I’ve met
We sailed side by side
Until the next channel of life
One day I was falling from my boat
And then you came and caught me
As you took my hand to hold me
We started dancing
All the colors turned into music
Can anyone imagine how beautifully sings the sunset?
And then the sunset was gone
And there was no moon or stars
Just darkness blinding my eyes
The cold wind told me you took off
I tried to sail into light
But I realized you took my oars with you
Morning came in ugly shades of grey
You stole the colors and the music
Sailors of Hades passed by me
But I was not dead
I was just parked in my apathy
Will you come for me? No you won’t…
Will you send me my oars? Oh please set me free!
Should I leave my boat and ask for a ride? And forever sail in dreams that are not mine…
Should I look for you in land?
And when I find you in your Masquerade ball, will you dance with me?
Or will you be wearing someone else’s mask?
I can’t ask you to break such beautiful thing… Even knowing it hides an unfulfilled soul.
It’s ok…
I’ll just sit there watching you dance for a while
(Just for a while)
Then I must leave
I have so much to see and live
And even if I can’t use my boat
I still can flow in Venices of my Mind
